Our local church family are provided with regular opportunities for growth, training and equipping. From time to time we have 'church together' where all our connect groups meet together at the church for training and fellowship. Our leadership meet for training and mentoring monthly. We run various other courses from time to time such as Loving Your Kids on Purpose, The Alpha course and others. Rudy runs training and mentoring times at regular intervals on a variety of leadership subjects including preaching and Homiletics. New families can also do our welcome course to understand our values and DNA.

We love the church in the city and have been working together with the City Wide church for over 25 years. Including Citywide leadership training times, combined Youth events. We enjoy relationship with a number of NCMI churches across the region and interstate, joining with them for Leadership training times (LTT). We have hosted Equip times at Liberty, taken teams to help run equips/LTTs in other areas and attend Equips they host.

"Vision is a future orientation, an art of seeing things invisible".
“Put simply, we want to reach our Neighbours and the Nations with the Good news of Jesus.”
— Rudy Furlong
Our vision at Liberty is achievable through a band of brothers; a family of believers who, through the values of friendship & relationship, enjoy similar values and journey together in seeing our vision accomplished.
“We see...”
- "People who know Jesus and make Him Known."
- We see a vibrant church that embraces organic life over organisational life. Organic life is the life of God that cannot be copied or captured as it changes from week to week. It requires a flexible church 'wine skin' (attitude). (Matt 9: 16-17)
- We see a vibrant church that opens its doors to the community in practical ways, a church that desires to be a healing community where people are loved, accepted and forgiven. (James 2:14-18)
- We see a vibrant church that loves our city and the wider church community (Matt 9: 35-38 & John 17: 20-22)
- We see a vibrant church that models a kingdom culture - the majority serving the minority, opposed to commonly seen church culture where the minority serves the majority: the 10% "doing" whilst the 90% "observe". (1 Thess 1: 1-10 & Eph 4:16)
- We see a vibrant church that trains, equips and therefore empowers believers to be all that God has designed for them. (Eph 4:11-16 & 2 Timothy 2: 2)
- We see a vibrant church that reaches the nations and disciples them as Jesus commanded. (Matt 28: 19-20)

CityWide Service January 2022 held at Liberty Church Mount Gambier

Worshipping together with 7 other churches from our city.

Guest Speaker Paul Zanardo (NCMI Apostolic Team/Melbourne Lights Church)

"You who is with out sin cast the first stone..."

Not even one believer or follower of Jesus was left... but Jesus who looked at the women with love.

"Someone's salvation is on the other side of your obedience." - Paul Zanardo
Acts 2 : 41-42 That day about three thousand took him at his word, were baptized and were signed up. They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers.
43-45 Everyone around was in awe—all those wonders and signs done through the apostles! And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met.
46-47 They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.

Annual Blue Lake Carols - 75 years in the city.
The Blue Lake Carols is an annual Christmas tradition in Mount Gambier.
